Confidential Reporting

To ensure that complaints about the Bank’s accounting, internal accounting control, or auditing matters as well as unethical or illegal conduct can be submitted confidentially and anonymously, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Peoples Community Bank has established a post office box exclusively for such communications. This post office box is accessible only by Audit Committee members. Complaints of this nature should be mailed to the following address:

All complaints will be treated as confidential, whether received anonymously or otherwise. If a complaint provides contact information, he or she shall be kept informed in a timely manner of action taken in response to their complaint. The amount of contact between the complainant and the investigating body will depend on the nature of the issue and the clarity of the information provided. Further information may be sought from the complainant. Subject to legal constraints, the complainant shall receive information about the outcome of any investigations.

Any effort to retaliate against any person making a complaint in good faith is strictly prohibited and shall be reported immediately to the Audit Committee Chair. Any allegations regarding such retaliation will be investigated and dealt with in accordance with Peoples Community Bank’s confidential reporting policy and procedures.
